Grinding noise when cold

    Bilstein 5100 all around set at 2.5. 1.5 AAL in the rear. 265/75/16 Hancook Dynapro MTs on Black Moto Metal 951s. Black badges. Aftermarket grill. TRD seat covers.
    Ive got a 2006 2.7L 4x4 Tacoma and ive started to notice a grinding/clunking noise when its cold outside and press the gas, i have no idea what it is and sometimes it stops when the engine is warmed up, any ideas?

    I have an 05 2.7 and I just noticed the same weird gear grinding noise (almost like the crunch you hear driving over snow) I have no clue what it is but once I start to drive it and it warms up it disappears. Any ideas taco world?
