Anyone else's wiper motor making a groaning noise?? Searched and found a few people on the 2nd gen board with it, but didn't see anything for 3rd gen. Used to be whisper quiet, but this just started about a week ago. I did a video with the wipers raised off the glass to isolate the noise from the motor versus the blades themselves, the sound is much louder and deeper when the wipers are down and windshield is dry.

Sounds like excess parasitic drag in the wiper mechanism and or wiper motor get it changed out for the bubble before the warranty is up.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Because of load on the motor.
