    What is a cell booster?

    Basically, if you are in an area where there is a weak cell signal, they pick up that weak cell signal and boost it. If there is no cell signal, there is nothing to boost.

    So, do they work?

    The short answer is maybe. It depends on several factors, but the family at Lifestyle Overland did a review on them somewhat recently. The consensus is that yes, they can have a noticeable improvement in cell coverage.

    The Drive Reach OTR Fleet seems to be the most popular choice as of now.

    The Drive Reach claims to have much better upload speeds, which in turn gets a better response.

    @CowboyTaco I got the Drive Reach, but I want to upgrade the antenna to the OTR one. The stock antenna is fine probably, and has gave me a signal in some areas that there wasn't before, but I have a roof rack and the bigger one would be easier to mount anyway and stick up higher.

    Been reading up and the reach is the newer successor to the 4gx and the reach has a higher uplink. This guy has a nice review test. The fleet seems to be the way to go and he was using the Stock magnetic mount and also compared it to the bigger RV setup.
