They look awesome in the pictures, but once you get them in hand you recognize how badass they really are. I think I've made some educated parts choices after reading and re-reading threads here at TW. I know that I would be making allot of changes to my setup if I didn't have the knowledge from this community to learn from. I'm meeting with a fabricator tomorrow - stoked.jpg - to start working out some obvious stuff like cab mount chops and fenderwell tubbing, as well as some custom work for some ideas that I have.

I want to see about making something that will go between the FlipPac and the bedside that is tall enough to allow me to add some L-track tie down rails to both the outside and inside. Outside for campsite stuff and inside for secure tie-down of stuff while traveling. I want the ends to stick out the back a bit so I can mount a tall CB antenna on the passenger side and a Quick-Light whip on the driver side.

    Stay tuned.

No sir. That is the truck that the McNeil Racing people used to test their new fenders. I was given those pictures and was given permission to share them.

Just wanted to tell you I'm running the Dynabeads in my tires and I love them. One of my favorite mods. I've got the tall and skinny 33's and love, love, love the beads. I trust they'll work good for you too.

Right, so my father passed away in October from a laundry list of illnesses that he had been battling. Doctors said that he outlived every expiration date they gave him which didn't surprise us much as he was a stubborn MF'r. One of the things I inherited was his house which is cool and to be honest, we are probably going to move into it after a few upgrades and then list our current house.

Today I had a locksmith in as every time we spend more than thirty minutes at the house some neighbor shows up with a pie, cake, or covered dish of some sort with condolences and a key. I bet I've collected almost a dozen spare keys to this house already from people returning them. The thought that there are an unknown amount of keys to the house that my family is going to be living in just floating around freaks me out. I told this to the locksmith and he just laughed saying that this is a common reason for him to get called out. Old people give their keys to everyone!

When I was in the locksmiths shop earlier I asked him what hardware he uses on his house as all the stuff I've found in my fathers doors is base grade hardware that gives up the ghost pretty fast. Example, I didn't have the house key one time I went out and in frustration put my house key into the lock, jiggled it a few times, and the lock opened. That doesn't promote warm and happy feelings of security. So as of today, I have a house that is completely equipped with Schlage Primus commercial grade locks all the way around. I'm told that these are the same types of locks he installs on banks and courthouses.

I know this isn't truck stuff but I thought it was pretty damn cool and figured that some of you might find it interesting.

At $120.00 delivered it just seemed like I would be an idiot if I passed them up.

The frame plate ($120) is for both sides right?

Met with the fab guys that @hmcclung hooked me up with. Pretty stoked as they are keen to get under the truck and do some work. With that said, I'm dropping it off to them for the week of the 14th through the 18th. I'm hoping that my parts that are still out there will make it to me before then so I can show up with as much as possible so we can get allot of things checked off the "to do" list.

If you've been here for awhile you might remember when my wife and I effectively got a pretty awesome first aid kit for free from her group medical insurance plan, It's really sweet but it's time to upgrade.

As is sits now (effectively the same as when we got it.)

    And todays addition. Upgrade #1

I'm pretty stoked about the O2 manifold as it isn't a direct flow variety but a precision meter that only flows when the wearer inhales. Now I'm searching for some sort of neoprene bottle holder.
