I was thinking about building a gun rack of some sort for my double cab. I was thinking something along the lines of the one in this picture.

If anybody is willing to share pictures of their gun racks or storage that would be much appreciated

I love my Big Sky Rack.

Also haven't had a complaint from a rear seat passenger about head room either.

I'm going to be mounting a 25-06 Remington and its too long for the ceiling. It barely fits on one of those mounts in a Dodge Ram. I'm trying to look for an alternative mount besides the ceiling one

Gall's and other police supply places sell vehicle gun racks; Tufloc and Jotto are two brands that are common.

You can find used models on eBay for good deals sometimes.

BSR-2. Just took the rear oh shit handles off and mounted the rack in its place. No lock. Can hardly notice the rack from outside the truck.

I've been researching this subject for a few months. I have a console vault for my handgun. Still researching for riffle. Below are a few storage options I have found.

Rackbone had a nice rack that fits behind the front driver or passenger seat. They make them for single or double. Nice looking rack!

Big Sky makes some nice options but, I've been leaning to Rackbone.

DuHa makes a tote that houses riffles that stores in your bed. This one mounts to bottom of the bed. Nice if you have a locked cover. They do not make under the seat holder now. Only for Tundra.

Tuffy makes a few different storage options.

Rogue Off-road has a under the seat option.

Hope this helps! I would love to hear some other options.

Installed a big sky sbr-1g. I saw others left off the grab handles but i spent a little time and made them fit. Have it forward of rear seat head room and as high as possible to the roof

I used a drill to enlarge the holes in the grab bars slightly.

On the side with the larger mount, i used a bench grinder to grind away enough material to clear the mount.

I like the looks of that set up. The way I have mine doesn't leave much headroom for the backseat. Thanks
