    Hello everyone,
I recently purchased Nokya H11 55watt replacements for my stock H16 19watt fog housing. I had no problem installing the new bulbs but am more concerned about the heat melting the fog housing/connecter. Anyone else have issues with excess heat damaging the housing? I will admit they are warm/hot to the touch after 10 mins but don’t seem to be softening the plastic. I do usually have the fogs on while driving at night so they do get used daily.

    Thanks

I'd be more worried about the wiring. But I know very little about anything electrical. That's why I just went and bought KC HiLites G4s.

I wonder why Toyota put H16s in when they could've used the H11s with no issues.

The reflector shape and beam pattern are different between the H16 and H11 housings.
