the lumbar adjustment went haywire. it now screeches, is VERY loose, and doesn't adjust anything. i adjusted the lumbar a bit when i picked the truck up last night, and today i set it where i think i'd like to leave it and when i turned it twice, the knob just sorta popped. i didn't force it at all, nothing weird.

    what a PITA.

Sorry to hear fellow tacomian. I'm sure that makes you feel like your truck won't last (I hope not). Hope its a fluke.

gotcha beat. I test drove mine, bought it, got in to leave and the A/C didn't work. Had to keep it over the weekend to replace a/c compressor and ship truck to me. Gave me a rental to drive 250 miles back home. I was hot!! pay 20K+ and drive home a rental.

ok i think i can beat all of ya with my story. back in january i got a 2010 reg cab 4x4 in barcelona red. the windshield was foggy inside the morn after i got it. thought prolly cause i was in it for a cpl hrs night before checkin things out. it happened several other times. all the while i started to notice this odor. anyways we had monsoon rains the second weekend i had it. monday after windshield was drippin wet with fog. i happened to reach down and feel the floor on driver side. when i pressed my hand down water covered it. i got it back to dealer got a camry loaner for a few days and now drive a white reg cab. they took it back with 185 miles on it.bad water leak somewhere under the cowl where wipers are. the dealer even put the undercover i had on it on the white truck for me. all i had to do was adjust it .hers the red truck and my white one.
