We had a bad hail storm in the southeast part of Denver and it got the Tacoma. Inspected today and damage is $4k and change. They kept telling me it would total but these things hold their value. Hood and windshield need replaced. The rest of the damage will stay and time for a small lift and put 31 inch tires back on it.

My '92 Toyota Pickup was nearly totaled by hail back in 2005. Paintless dent repair was the key to getting it repaired instead of totaled. I was admitedly skeptical, but ended up very pleased with the way it turned out.

The insurance company put to replace the roof, hood, windshield and drivers fender. PDR on driver door, cab, bedside and passenger fender, door, cab and bedside. The drivers bedside was fixed/painted in January and now it has hail all over.
We have damage all over a house we have been in less than 2 months so we have to deal with that as well.

Same thing happened to me at the Denver airport about a year ago. It seems like Denver is hail central! My truck was a few months old so I got PDR, looks good as new.

How big of hail was it? Mines sat out through some stuff that I just dreaded coming out to look at it because I thought for sure it would look like a golf ball. I've been amazed at how big of hail stones this thing can take without damage. It's probably been through dime to nickel sized without a dent (And there were other cars near me that did sustain damage, including a BMW)

There was a 15 min period of hail about the size of ping pong balls. It hailed on and off from 6:30-9:15 PM, it was crazy. It looked like it had snowed because the whole neighborhood was white. A couple miles south they had snow plow trucks out pushing the hail off the roads. The first two pictures are on our front porch during the heavy hail and the second is our back yard the next morning.

We did get our roofs replaced due to the major hail storms we had. Pretty awesome paying only $300 from a $1k deductible for new roofs on my house, shed and garage.
