Just installed the Halo 9 in my 2015 Tacoma, everything works great except the backup camera. I assume it triggers on the EDIT REVERSE light lead (Maestro Purple White to Orange White), but nada. Just seeing if anyone else has had this issue.

I've searched the forum, but haven't come across anything. I could have sworn I've see something on here. But any ideas would be appreciated.

Why would a reverse camera trigger on a brake light? It can trigger on the reverse lights, but you have to make sure it triggers using the correct polarity.

Are you sure you have it set to trigger on the right voltage level?

Just to double check a few more things

Is the camera setting turned on in the radio?

Is the camera RCA plugged into the radio?

Is it plugged in to the correct spot on the radio?

After those 3 things, you’ll want to grab a multi meter for further steps

Meter the purple/white - orange/white wire while in reverse to make sure you’re getting +/-12v

If you get power there, move on to the maestro blue/yellow in the camera harness (not to be confused with the same color wire in the steering wheel control harness.) Should be getting +/-6v on this wire

If none of these clears it up, I might re-flash the module and try it again
