Looking to beef up my rear end when I get the parts together to relocate my rear shocks. I've tried looking, but couldn't really find a definitive answer. Would any of you guys happen to know if there is a big difference between these two?

Does the Hammer Hangers provide more travel?

I purchased but have not yet received the BAMF hangers and shackles. I bought BAMF based on the customer service I have heard about. That’s all I know so far and hope to get my order soon. :fingerscrossed:

Leaf springs, shocks and shackle length are going to determine how much more/less travel you get. Both hangers are of similar design, so that's more brand preference.

I have the Hammer Hangers and love them.

Ugh just noticed mine are bent, so I need to do this at some point soon. Do Hammer Hangers also have the option for the bolt on cross brace between driver and pax side?

Archive claims that the shackle mounting location is moved rearward in an attempt to let the leaf packs fully droop out more easily. From looking at pictures they arnt moved back much but maybe it helps... I have no experience with either.

I bought BAMF based on customer service and proven quality. Not to say that archive isn't quality. Jerry (BAMF) was running a sale on his hangars around black Friday IIRC and they were $100 LESS THAN Archive with powdercoating. No brainer.

Still collecting dust in the garage but soon as the weather breaks, they'll get installed.

I ordered the bamf hangers an shock relocate kit simply based on how they stepped up for the community with that debacle I won’t name a while back.
    I’m stoked for this upgrade.

You'll be happy with your purchase. I have the Bamf hangers and love them. I have the BAMF shock relocate, but ended up selling it to get the Archive kit

For the bigger shock I’m guessing?
They should be here within a week or 2.

In a similar setup, with only the hangers being different, would one provide more droop than the other or are they the same?

2.5" Fox relocation * Hammer hanger * Archive MD springs
Longer springs like Deaver, Alcan and AllPro can't fit between stock hanger points.
Hammer hangers move the pivot point rearward which helps the long springs fit between the hangers and helps the shackle rotate down, so yes Hh provide more droop over stock hanger location.

I added the Beefy BAMF hangers and Shackles and i added a custom cross bar. I went a little different on the cross bar its square tube! I cant speak for the Hammer Hangers but the BAMF hangers are really nice i cant believe the ride improvement so stable thru corners. Havent gotten out in the dirt yet i have a front blown shock that needs a rebuild.
