video was helpful, but for deaver u402 stage 3, would we go with the 3.6" shackle? wasn't sure if the 4.0" shackle applied to *all* deaver springs.

I recall the 4” was for running SUA and 3.6 for SOA. 3.6” was recommended for a heavy custom 402 pack. At least I hope that’s the case as that’s what I have on order. @ARCHIVE can confirm.

Glad it helped, Deaver U402 and all spring over axle springs the 3.6 shackles are recommended.

How big are the stock shackles?

stock is 3.4", so the length is effectively same as 3.6"

Agreed. I texted him on a Saturday night because I was being dumb during my install, and he set me straight quickly and without issue.

Ok cool so the new version hangers and this shackle will neither lift nor lower the truck?
What’s the benefit of your shackle? Poly bushing? Greasable? Maybe stronger (though I’ve never heard of a stock one break)? Anything else?

    No lift.

Yes, poly bushings for rotating, grease fitting in tube (right way), and moderately stronger than stock as well.

I agree on stock shackles, I have been telling everyone from the beginning stock shackles aren't the weak point, it's the stock hangers that are absolute trash.

Archive treated me great! Glad I went with them.

BAMF is a great company! Can’t go wrong with either at this point.

So I'm currently trying to install these with the ELO95R leafs. The shop just called me and informed me that the leafs won't fit with these hangers and shackles because the way it end up sitting in the hanger is off and not correct. Has anybody else tried installing these leafs with these hangers on a 3rd Gen, if so what did you do to fix it?

Loads of people have run the leafs in both hangers. Did they specifically say what’s wrong? Pics would be nice.

also, which hangers and shackle? Bamf or archive? Oem shackles?
