I watched it the other day. I think the truck build is thought out an, but average. Just a bunch of bolt on stuff that half of TW is running. It's still a good looking truck and he's right to be proud of it, like we are of ours.

The part that kills me is all the tacticool stuff though. I know Travis has the resume, no argument. I also know he runs training classes. But if you're needing to run 90 rounds of 5.56 stateside plus 2 spare pistol mags on a quick deployment setup and aren't a cop...your OODA loop failed you multiple times.

Looks higher than a stock PRO.... Had red springs, maybe perhaps Eibachs? But overall top notch gear and he knows what hes doing with it

Learned something new today "OODA" thanks! Maybe slight overkill, but I guess its better to be over prepared than under

The owner of the truck is a bad ass, I just looked up his company and his bio on the website. Overkill for me, but at least he knows how to use and teach how to use all that fire power.

I suppose. I carry a watered down version of that loadout when I venture far into the west desert. But in town...nope.

Yup, esp his contractor days in the hairy times of Iraq and AFG.

Good feedback, you should get in touch with him and get him up to speed while you swap stories of your times in Force Recon and of all the bad guys you've shot

His resume is vastly superior to mine in that arena (I used predator drones :spy:), but that's not what I'm saying. What I am saying is he is Joe Public these days, and 141 rounds on body for a stateside citizen is a little much.

Pretty basic build, I had more shit bolted to mine in a day than this truck. Also the stock Fox springs are red, so if it’s lifted it’s most like a spacer lift for cosmetics. Seems the guy is YouTube famous so people ride his d*ck and think his truck is more than it really is.

I think the take away from Travis’ setup is that he has fashioned his truck into something that works for him, and his philosophy of use. You can see from the way he talks about it that the things the truck carries is what is important to him, i.e. the glider and the med/firearms supplies he carries, and not so much the truck itself. The truck is an appropriate tool to facilitate what he deems to be important in his life, and I think that’s pretty cool.

I’m and LEO, I carry a small rechargeable flashlight, a pistol inside the wasteband, a spare 7 round mag, and my cell phone, and a trauma kit in the truck. For me that’s enough based off of what I’ve experienced in life. Travis carries what he thinks is enough based off of what he has experienced. Either way I’m happy that hes got a truck that works for him and I gotta day it sure does look slick.

    Like, so many.
I watched this other day. It’s a good looking truck, but like he says, it’s a work in progress. Cool accessories though.
