I have had the Geos (285/75/16) for about 10k miles and they ROCK. I have done a couple of long road trips, they are quiet on the highway, handle good at 80mph+ loaded, they do well in the snow, light mud, great in deep sand, great aired down, and show no wear after 10k or so, I rotated once at 5k. I have no complaints. And they were CHEAP!

Am really enjoying my newly purchased Hankooks. Smooth ride with just a little to no whine on the street. Have not had a chance to try off road but that time is coming soon.

My wheels are painted black and intially the tire installer balanced the wheels on the inside using sticky weights. While the ride was good, was getting a little bit of vibration. Carried it back and asked what was the most efficient and best way to balance. They stated to use regular wheel weights and to place weights on both the inside and outside of the wheel. They remove the stickies and used the lead weights. The installer stated they were now perfectly balanced. He was not lying. No vibration of any kind and extremely smooth. I wound up painting the outside lead weights with black/out finger nail polish and they blend perfectly with the wheels. I love these tires.
