Something you don't usually hear at the dealer..."you have equity". You gotta love the resale value of the Tacoma. I just picked up my 2010 4X4 after trading in my 2008 PreRunner, I still cant believe how much they gave me in trade. With the new truck at "invoice", my payments only went up $30.

Now, how long should I wait to put a coat of wax on it and who has some aluminum wheels they need to sell?

Congrats. Factory paint is fine to put wax on. If you've had any paintwork beyond what came from the factory, then wait 60 - 90 days before waxing. This allows for "outgassing" or "curing".

Wax it now, it's dried long enough and needs to be protected.

Best way to find out is wash it by hand and while water is moving over the surface rub your hand on the paint (using the water as a lubercant). If the paint feels ruff you need to claybar and wax it, if it feels smooth then wax only. While the truck is being transported it pics up all kinds of road gunk, and the dealer doesn't clean it off. Just washes the surface dust and dirt off and make it look nice.
