Hello, did you notice that the tacoma doors are hard to close, on my 08 access cab it is very hard to close the door you must be strong to close:D.
Is it because it is an access cab with rear dual dorrs or the doulbe and regular are the same?
In second time when I pass bumper or dirt road I can hear a sound from the rear suspension but there are nothing on the bed I hope it is not the TSB problem I have read for 2007 models, mine is a 2008, what do you think?
    Thanks

I was just thinking the opposite, my doors are very easy to close, perhaps a little grease.

The doors on my 08 are neither hard or easy to open or close as a matter of fact I was just noticing today how well the function. Beings you have an 08 take it back to the dealer and see what they have to say.

Yeah thanks for your answer, but the doors slide very well I don't think it is a problem of add grease but compared to other vehicles it is more hard to close, sometimes when I closed I must open again and re-close, maybe it's because I am not strong:D, I just don't know
What did you guys think about my rear suspension? Are the 08 models have a problem?

How many leafs do you have in the back?

When I was at Toyota on Tuesday all of the '08s I saw on their lot where still running the old leaf pack.

My doors are very easy to close (I have a double cab). That is one of many good things about Toyota - the doors are very light and take very little force to close, compared to domestic vehicles that weigh 500lbs and take extreme force to close.

How do the doors on the passenger side close? Maybe you have been slamming the doors too hard from the beginning? Are the passenger side doors as hard to close?

i feel the front doors on my access cab are pretty hard to close too, but the exact opposite goes for the 2 rear doors, i push it with one finger and as long as they move by themselves to the closed position they are locked in, but many times when people get out of my truck for the first time they often dont close the door completely

My 08 access cab rugged trail has a hard time with the doors also. i have to slam it closed. it seems like a tight seal, nothing that grease would fix. I am a pretty big guy and i have to make it a point to tell people that they have to slam it closed.

Looks like an access cab issue.

Yeah the both front doors are the same for close, very hard, it is interest to know that only the access cab model are hard to close, I think it is because of the rear doors, don't matter...
For the question of the leaf pack, I don't know how much I have, I don't very understand why they put old models and what the differences, I have heard that there was problem but don't very understand, How can I know if they have a problem? And what is the difference if I add more leafs? Maybe I will load more weight on the bed but what about the road performance after?
Thank you very much. I love my dreamtruck.

My friends that are used to heavy american car doors ALWAYS have had a tough time closing the doors of my Toyotas.
It's all in the follow through. They are used to the extra weight to make up for their limp wristed door closing techniques.;)

I have an 08 and there is not a TSB yet for the rear leaf on the 08 just 07. I am also wondering about the 08 tailgate.

To stay on topic all my dbl cab doors close easy like a sunday morning.

I think it's definately an access cab issue.... the overall design of the access cab doors and the main door latching to it.

When we first bought the truck, my husband requested they 'allign' the doors' because he thought they closed 'funny' (so to speak).

It's the nature of the beast.....
