    Good writeup, seems like we all independently figure out a way to do this and post about it. Here’s the one I did about a year ago, It’s a five minute job to install and is completely hidden:

    Someone here asked about using the map light for constant power, I wouldn’t do that because it messes around with the DRL circuit as well. Just use the mirror compass power for switched power, I think the best way to get constant power is to go up from the fuse panel through the A column as you did.

    Door F/R is what I used. It's a 20A, but I used an add-a-fuse with a 5A fuse.
