I want to hardwire a 200 watt power inverter (usb outlets) to a bluesea fuse block that is powered by my auxiliary battery. The inverter is not supposed to exceed 180 watts. Is there anything else that needs to be considered to avoid a catastrophic event? What size fuse should be used in the fuse block?

If it were me, I'd put a 20 amp fuse in there, sized based on 10% over max rating. Depending on the length of wire run to the inverter, 12 AWG being the minimum.

Perfect. I'm using 12awg. And will use that 20 amp fuse. Thanks

Why are you using an inverter for USB outlets?
