Get armor the stock bumper has the impact resistance of a mirage. It stops impacts with butterfly wings and best intentions.

Yeah they have a huge stock of parts. They are the home base of trdparts4u. So you can order online and pick up your order within an hour or so.

no advice for how to do so...
but I think the dealer fucked up with my order and I have 0 issue with it lol.

Every other canadian spec off road I've seen has the chrome caps which I hate.
But I have color matched. And I never asked for them or anything as I didn't know it was an option.

You can just order the bumper caps already painted for $112.73 (OEM). No need to worry about painting etc. I'm in the process of doing this now after someone clipped me in a parking lot.

Love my black fender flares. My TRD OR Taco would look too plain without them. I also installed black fender flares on my daughters 09 Colorado, big improvement.

These are Toyota OEM parts. Just check with your local dealership and they should be able to get them for you in your color and for the price I quoted.

I have only seen the black ready to paint caps or the chrome but have never seen an option to order them already painted. If you find a part number for them already painted I'd appreciate it.

Forgot to mention, you will want to get them clear coated and this price does not include the park sensor option.

So sorry guys, I just looked at my quote and I misinterpreted 'RT Bumper Cover Pained' as an item number. Upon closer inspection of my quote there are also paint and labor charges there. So bottom line it looks like I will be paying $190 for the bumper cap replacement.

So aftermarket black seems to be the best choice if you are concerned with cost.

Thanks. No, I think most of us just wanted to take the easy route and have the painted ones shipped to us. I know I did .

Everyone here is saying the chrome is just the finish on the plastic. All the chrome ones I've seen are actual chrome. As in metal

Someone may have a handy link but Robdman has a video out on it. It's not too hard.

Tried plasti-dipping them and thought they looked like heck. So ordered and installed the factory unpainted ones. Pealed off the plasti-dip off the original ones and sprayed them with bed liner paint as a back up set or to sell down the line.
