Got excited until you linked their IG. Did some snooping and they are wanting 14k for the kit.

Anyone actually need portals? Might want to learn how to just use 4wd properly and a proper lift and save money. Plus good luck getting warranty or parts from Russia.

Id buy a truck from Iceland before buying these parts.

How long till someone posts how badass Russian trucks are and i bet the parts are bulletproof?

Made from melted pinball machines and old razors.

These just popped up in my feed today. Portal hubs sound cool and all, but not $14k cool.
NOW if it's 14k Ukrainian hryvnia, then sure. That's like $520USD

If anyone was interested, I reached out to them out of curiosity and they sent me their "brochure".

I'm not a Tacoma owner, but as there aren't many of these around if anyone has questions I'm one of the few in North America running these portals right now. Not super interested in any arguments about if they are needed, how much they cost, or if you think all engineers in country X are idiots, I think they are fun and can afford them, but if anyone has questions on how they work or installation I can share my experience.

If anything a bit more travel possible. Less CV angle at full droop and more tire clearance at full up travel. Portal hubs simply move the wheel center down.

Also less stress on axles and driveline due to TQ multiplication which means u can run the stock frail ass CV joints with less worry . Also if disk breaks are moved in board then more stoping power too.

KOH ultra 4 cars routinely run them on their 4x4 IFS setups for all the reasons plus ground clearance.

I'm running mine for two reasons, snow clearance, and since I was a kid I have loved Unimogs and G-Wagens, so now I have a mog-wagen. The 1.3:1 reduction is pretty wonderful though, I still pull hard off the line, truck accelerates like I'm running the world's heaviest 30" tires, not like I'm running 38" tires.

As for the no-travel bit, I don't know what taco travel is like stock, but it doesn't change it. If it sucks before, it will suck after, if it's great before, it will be great after, but either way portals aren't going to change it, with the possible exception of reducing rubbing somewhere.

    Thank you for chiming in.

Any gear or operational noises that are worth mentioning?

Nothing I can hear. I worried about the straight cut gears initially but in the portals they don't turn as fast as they do in a transmission so no gear whine.

So I was thinking about your question a bit more while out wheeling yesterday, the only operational "issue" I have found is a kind of funny one, when you come to a stop, the truck rocks a couple of times back and forth. I think this is due to the leverage on the axle and suspension links pushing against the rubber bushings that are in effect a spring with little damping. I would think this might mean over time I have to replace these bushings earlier than without the portals but it's way to soon to know that for sure.

Thank you for the info. I'll be curious to hear how they hold up in the long term.

My BJ73 will be a better a fit for these, but linked suspension will also be a requirement. If the radius arms on the G are allowing a bit of rotation, leaf springs certainly won't do.

If I had the money Id order these for the GX. Id love to be able to run 38s on stock gears and not worry about it.
