Has anyone noticed that some 2012 Tacomas have the older style tailights?

    I have seen some 2012's with the LED lights and some with the pre 09 style lights.

    I just purchased this week a new 2012 Reg Cab 4x4 automatic and it has the older style 05-09 red tail lights with bulbs, look kind of cheap, it does not have the LED tail lights with the clear center.:confused:

    Okay, per Toyota.com's builder they are in fact different. Though the reg cab ones look different from the 05-08 tails. They have clear on the bottom...

    yeah.... lower style models have them. they look cleaner then the wold taillights, yet strange how they brought them back.

    for those who have them, you can easily put in LED taillights.
