Has anyone removed the Toyota Door Edge Protectors?

    Mine came the same way along with most of the bottom portion of the truck also having a clear tape on it.

    Those protectors are for absorbing impacts from swinging your door open and striking something.

    The only thing I don't like about the tape stuff is that you can easily see the borders of the tape (where it ends) because of the dirt that builds up and stains it. I don't have that issue because I have mudguards but I have some friends who had to take it off because it looked so bad on their trucks.

    Yea my truck is Calvary Blue so you don’t really notice the tape that will probably change with age tho.

    Come off with a light nudge. It over the painted door. I don’t know how it was applied over the clear coat with scratching it. Mine came off by themselves.
