I thought they were going for a 79 series Land Cruiser front end...

...So when I saw the end result, I was confused. 80 series lights with a Voltron grille and a disfunctionally short bed? I don't get it.

But I would rock that tail gate!

While I can appreciate the time, effort, creativity, and skill that went into this build....I think its hideous.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
The color scheme looks like something you'd see on a Hi-lux in Asscrackastan.

It looks alright. My only wtf comment is on the white painted diamond plate mudflaps.

That front end looks like someone who has a face too small for their head. Like eyes, nose, and mouth are too close together kinda thing...
Should have just done a motor swap into a good condition 1st gen pick up and added modern tech to the inside. Basically a pro touring type thing but with a 4x4 truck. Better frame, would look better, and easier IMO. Yes they have skills but a poor vision.

That truck was built by "Containerized" on ExPo. It's a couple of years old at this point but he had a build thread he made while it was under construction. The truck is used in Africa, I can't recall off the top of my head which country he works in though. This isn't his first vehicle build; he's got some really, really nice stuff.

    Found the thread:

The same shit everyone else has.
    Interesting.

I feel like the front bumper is mounted entirely too low. Like it should be where the filler panel is under the lights.

I dig the stripes and tailgate though
