I have recied an email from Google and from friends about this number but have yet to use it.

It works the same as info yet they don't charge and its set up by google. You call them they ask for city and state then you name the buisness you wish to call and they connect you. I haven't tried it, no reason to use it.

There's a few free directory assistance services out there. All of them make you listen to the advertisement before you get the number you requested. I have 1-800-free-411 locked into my cell. They get you the right number about 1/2 the time, I'm not impressed!
