Has anyone won any money in the Lottery?

I've won like, 5 bucks. I got excited because I had never won any money like that before. Wonder if anyone else has struck gold?

 

I scored big twice.........$86 & $50 and several $3 & $5. Hard to figure out where to spend that kind of money

 

A handful of $2-$5. Won over $50 on a scratcher. A lot of my extended family are the $10/week players. They have won a few thousand at one time or another, but how much are they loosing vs. spending. That's $520/year plus the extra you spend when the jackpot is big.

I bought a lottery ticket once and found $20 on the floor next to the register while paying. So... officially no but I'm still ahead of the game.

only the people who don't really need the money ever win big.

just luck is all, the more you buy, the greater your chances are of winning anything.

I've known two ladies who won $100,000 each; one paid off her loans and the other built a barn.

 

Never bought the first ticket. My co-worker is depending on it for his retirement though, hasn't won shit.

 

I won $100 about 15 years ago on the powerball. Was all excited pulling out of the convenience store a little fast and got a ticket! There went my $100...

My aunt won back in the 80s i dont remember how much but it was 6 figures. She also ends up winning a few thousand here and there every year. My grandmother won like $25k as well. I play a few bucks a week on powerball and megamillions as well as being in a lottery pool at work. Sure probably a waste of money but i figure the people who have won big were also sitting at home thinking this is a waste i will never win lol.

 

Yeah, you hope that that wasn't it, and that you didn't blow your 'shot' on a just miss....
