    I have a 05 DCSB.. is there such thing as a box that mounts to your bed without having to drill the bed in order to hook it to the bed? It may be a stupid question but I like the black box look.. I just am not going to drill into my bed.

    There are links on here where folks have used J-hooks without drilling...

    how wide is that box? Amazon has them for $300ish at 60" across. the box i have now is 60" but your looks like it fits almost rail to rail. I know the 1st gen beds are narrower so maybe thats why. anyways that box is badass!

    I used those metal tool boxes at work for years. Hated the dang things. Nothing ever stayed dry in them in the winter. For my own personal truck, I made one out of plywood, and painted to match the truck. Lifts in and out very easy. Big and roomy. Holds a ton of stuff. Can post a photo if you want.
