Hawk HPS vs Superduty Brake Pads?

While searching revealed some anecdotal discussion on this subject, I didn't find much in the way of clear advice... What's the better choice for our trucks, Hawk HPS or Superduty brake pads?

 

In this opinionated crowd, no one has even one of those to offer?

(BTW, I'm looking to take advantage of the ongoing "fire sale" Pep Boys is running on Hawk pads, but LTSs are out of stock. HPS and Superduty are my only choice.)

 

Yeah, brake pads are a mute subject nowadays.

 

Btw, i've seen the Porterfeild components recommended a long with the Hawk LTS. Might be worth considering.

 

Hey, since early 2000s Tundra brakes can be fitted to our vehicles, doesn't that mean that same year Tundras aftermarket brakes fit as well (assuming they're not oversized obviously)? Could be overkill... but worth a thought.

Brembo blanks and Hawk HPS pads are pretty much a popular combo on TTORA. From what everyone says they improve braking by alot.

HPS are fine.

Superduty if you are planning on towing A LOT or carry A LOT of weight. or else they'll just wear out faster.

 

This involves a complete rotor/caliper/pad conversion. There are serveral threads on the parts and required process. The upgrade is on my wish list, but I can't justify the cost right now.
