Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
Wish I would have had that piece of advise when I did mine...would have made for a cleaner install.

Look at bottom of your radiator. The bottom of the radiator is where the tranny fluid is "cooled" from the trucks radiator. The driver's side is the return side. I plumbed in my Hayden using a hose from the driver side radiator into the inlet side of my Hayden cooler.

Basically, the inlet hose on your Aux tranny cooler should be connected to the driver's side radiator exit hole.

Where do the lines connect to from the oil cooler to the radiator? I want to do this mod but can't risk messing up my truck by cutting into the lines. Can I get a walk through?

Excellent thread and thanks for the details. I was able to install a Hayden cooler myself and then had the oil lines installed at a local shop.

Forgot to mention that I got the aluminum bracket from Home Depot. Also broke the clips to the corner lenses while removing. Packaging tape worked well temporarily to hold in place and wasn't an eye sore. Luckily, Amazon had replacement lenses for much less than the dealership.

I'm getting ready to replace my radiator and while I'm at it I am going to install a cooler. Did any of you install an inline filter while you were at it?

I've been doing research to replace the trans cooler for towing since the TRD one is worthless. I do plan to add an in-line filter like the magnefine.

One other important thing from this thread, there seem to be a lot of posts saying to install the lines backwards. The in should be at the bottom with the out at the top or both at the top. Don't ever install it with both lines at the bottom. My cooler has instructions stating this and it is because of how the fluid would not flow through the cooler if it isn't forced to so it would do very little to help cool anything.

Thanks for the video Tim. But the reason why I'm not going the route of ziptie is because I'll be working on replacing the ac system next. Its not as cold and the bearing on the compressor is done. PO drove through flooded roads or something because there's alot of rust spots I need to hit up.

Roger that. Since you'll be working on your AC system, check out this video my buddy Sean and I made. I think you'll find it very informative.
