Head light problems. No high beam

    On my 98 Toyota Tacoma high beams are not working - When they are turned on, the lights go out, but the blue dash indicator does go on! With these symptoms, could someone advise what the problem is IE: switch, relay .... Looks like a real bear to replace the switch! Thanks for any help with this.

    My '98 did/does the same thing after a 3" 55W 6500K HID projector swap, and I was reading that the HID swaps need a resistor wired in.

    I found this older post looking for an Ohm value, and I'm going to try 10K Ohm, to start with. That's the resistance value of the deletes I make for motorcycles...

    Btw, I tracked down 'my crank no start' condition to the BN-7 connector under the seat. The fuel pump circuit is under engineered for that connector, and it should have had a dedicated connector with better handling capability. If you haven't already, locate the connector, open it up, and look at the condition of the connector terminals. The female blue/fuel pump wire in the connector was destroying the connector housing.
