Our '06 has the basic stereo/CD player (no indication that it is a JVC) and as near as I know, it has no provision for a input from my MP3 player. I have a line on what looks like a basic radio from an '09 Single CD, MP3 capable, wiring for an external input.) Can I swap this into our '06 and gain these capabilities including the ability to add an external input for an MP3 player? (Not looking for an iPod connect as I use Sansas.)

Given that so many folks upgrade radios, I'm surprised I do not see more used factory units for sale. Which ones have external input capability and are compatible with an '06? Where should I look for them and what should I expect to pay?

    Thanks,
    hank
