    hey guys, i'm thinking of changing out the head unit in my 09 to something a little....um....better. i dont know how it is going to look though. can anybody post some pics of what they've done with theirs so i can get an idea of whats out there? thanks for all your help!

    Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
    I just received my new H/U last night. I will post pics of the installation and final results this weekend.

    I just got done installing this Kenwood DNX7120. Its pretty nice and I am really happy with it. I think that the only thing diffrent than the 8120 is the built in Bluetooth. So I had to hide the box under the driver side seat. It was pretty easy to hide the wires and everything, as there is already a factory cut out for the floor AC venting. So I just ran the wire under the carpet and into the consol up to the head unit.

    can someone take a picture of the top of their double din HU? Since the dash slopes backwards, can you see the backing of the HU if you look on top?

    I'll take a pic tonight of that angle. You can see the top of the HU a bit, but it is still trim and not bare metal.

    when i look at the scosche TA2052B. It says it is only for a single slot cd player but yours has both the space taken out. did you cut the hole bigger or what?

    i got it at my local audio shop for $20. no i didnt cut the hole. its a pocket. it came like that.
