Has anybody, other than this idiot, ever stripped the end of their headlight adjustment bolt, screw, off? If so what did you do? Can it be replaced? Thanks in advance if anybody has a remedy.

I tried adjusting my brand new TYC headlights and it wouldn't turn - just stripped. Luckily they were aimed properly from the factory so I just left it.

Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your second or third questions.

The hex end is smaller diameter than the bolt. You could regrind the hex flats again. That bolt sticks out a bit so there is probably room. And yes if you take it apart that bolt pops out of the socket. Could replace from junkyard or Amazon, Totota will kindly sell you a whole new light assembly.

The whole unit pops out with a couple 10mm bolts, easy to fix. You have to take the front grill off to get to the 10mm bolts

I was sort of figuring that they could somehow be replaced but just thought I'd check on here just to make sure before I started taking the grill off and taking everything apart to see. Thanks for the info Brother!!
