Heat

Had the '16 DCSB 4x4 for 4 weeks. The heat directed at the feet on the drivers side seems to be warm and not blasting out like the top heating vents. The controls are set to feet only and at high speed. Have an appointment at the dealership this coming Monday.

also be advised that even though you have it set to feet, there is still air being directed to the side window vents (the little vent to defrost the side mirrors) and some to the front windshield.

you wont notice this as much as when you have it set to regular vents since its already diverting some air to those little side vents.

 

Just came back from the dealership. There are 3 air ducks on the drivers side, one blows towards the feet, the other two blow towards the left of the gas pedal. This is how it's designed, although on my other Tacoma (2010) the heat came out much warmer and with more force. I will add that the dealership mechanic that I spoke with was very good at explaining and took his time to check it out. This gave me confidence on going back for my 2yr service checks.
