I do have 1 more question. I'm concerned about the pad y put in the seat. I know you have to make
Sure it's smooth when you place it in the seat. Is yours smooth and can you feel or see any wrinkles
    Or anything in your seat?

It wasn't difficult to smooth them out before putting the fabric back in place. They get taped down too so it's really not noticeable once the covers are back on. The only thing that I have to remind myself of is that I shouldn't kneel on the seat bottom when I'm reaching for something in the truck. It's bad for the heating pads.

That might depend on the heating elements that you buy - and how they instruct you to install them.

The heating pads do stick in place and the fabric on the seat helps hold them in place. The fabric is really tight. I've had mine for years - that writeup is actually mine :).

True. I was speaking of the ones that I bought, linked in my original reply.

Great write-up, by the way. It was really helpful. Thanks!
