My 2006 Ext. Cab 2.7L has an unusual quirk for a Toyota. Has anyone experienced this?

When you want to change where the conditioned air comes out, you turn the knob to the corresponding position. In my truck, if I turn the knob to the "Floor" position, most of the air comes out at the windshield.

I took it by the dealership yesterday and asked then to take a look. They did and they verified what I had said.
Then they said that there was nothing they could do because they had an '05 and an '09 that did the same thing. In addition, they said they had no factory info on it or how to fix it.
For any manufacturer to build a vehicle that does the oposite of what it's told is ridiculous. (Almost as ridiculous as a guy who believes everything the dealership says.)

Please pay attention to where the air comes out in your vehicles and let me know if you notice this oddity. My quess is that this will affect '05 thru '09 vehicles.

    Thanks

    Welcome to tacoma World.
Let me get this straight. There is a problem with your truck, and the dealer says they cant fix it, and too bad????? BULSHIT. Call the 800# in the back of your owners manual, and file a complaint. THEN, go to a different dealer.

Yeah I agree with Chris, call and get a case number then find a dealer that understands it's their job to fix broken stuff.

    Thanks Guys!
I'll be calling to get a case number tomorrow morning.
This same dealer denied there was a TSB on '05 thru '08 Tacoma rear suspensions as well. I'll take my copy so they'll have it for their records. :)
Those guys lie enough to be in Congress!
