Driveline is welded and ready to go. Only problem now is that the bolt patterns don't match up. I'm beginning to think that my truck doesnt want 4wd...

A buddy gave me one of those triple drilled flanges a while back. I need to switch it out.

Oh gotcha.. The drive shaft looks great too! Whats next in the list after the flange situation?

I want to save up and get a dual t case set up, but that will have to wait. Also, I still need to lift the rear. It has a 2in lift shackle and a 4in block right now and the leaf pack is flat... I need to take care of that next.

And, of course, as soon as the driveline is in, I want to take it off roading. I'm just waiting on my boyfriend to get his jeep done so we can go mudding.

What are you planning for the rear? A good suggestion is to go with some chevy 63" springs because they produce some serious flex haha.

Yeah, I have read about the Chevy 63s. I'm thinking that I might just go with the Trail Gear kit. I like that the kit comes with everything I'll need-- like the u-bolt flip kit and Bilsteins. Is there a definite advantage to the 63s over the Trail Gear springs?

Well they flex better because of their length, and their MUCH cheaper than going with the trail gear rear kit. Most of the Solid Axle Swapped toyotas that ive seen run them because of the offroad advantage with the flex that they give.

I'm not 100% sold on the 63's. There's several trucks that I wheel with that have them and there's some that run the Trail-Gear springs. Flex is tit-for-tat, but the Trail-Gears feel a lot more stable.... but that's just me.

Nothing new. Haven't even had the chance to take it out in the mud lately. Life has been too crazy busy. But, I hope to take it out and get some pics up soon!

A pre-taco section would be pretty cool. There are quite a few of us on here.

Thanks! Your truck is pretty sweet too!

I tried, put it out there in the suggestions section, maybe if more of us chimed in and asked for one it would work. And thanks! I've only just begun, SAS won't be for YEARS so I'll just  here for a while ha
