So the girlfriend and I are heading to Orlando this weekend in the truck. She's having issues with her back and a heating pad is the only thing helping her right now. Is the plug in the bed going to be able to run a heating pad at 100w without any issues? I plan to run an extension cord through the back window. Just trying to make sure she can make the trip without being in excruciating pain.

If it can't then you can get a 12v one on Amazon for inexpensive. Just search "heating pad for car".

We'll be leaving early morning Friday. Not sure it would be delivered in time but worth looking into. We've got another trip not long after we get back gong to Colorado so if the 100w isn't enough I'll definitely do that.

You should be able to find something like these at your local drug store. No electricity needed.

Heated seats are the only thing I wanted from the premium package and wasn't worth the extra 3k on the price tag so I opted not to get my truck with the premium. Only thing we have right now is a 1 sqft little heating pad she's been sitting with on her back after work. I'm going to take a look at it today and see if it has anything about power draw.

Struggling with some back pain right now, 2.5 hours (round trip) of commute each day. Ice is the way to go. Heat feels good while it is on but it doesnt help resolve pain. Buy some flexible ice packs, put them in cooler and do half hour on, half hour off. Makes sitting in the car more bearable.

You can get a power inverter at a local car parts store or hardware

Ok, update. The pad we have shows it's 50 watts. Should work fine then. Thanks everyone for responses. I was at work when I posted this so wasn't able to look at it.
