here are the picks of mine on the first gen.
    a few of the bracket:

    DSC_0009_06bfc630506502ed756cc0e4b00a252dbbd7361d.jpg
heres how the bracket mounts to the grill:
    DSC_0012_153eb06335d6eb82b267228df137f080798068fa.jpg
and the lights mounted to the bracket:
    DSC_0013_9bc738ed0160795dad7bf67f5155ca2c34102c0b.jpg
heres mounted to the grill with a little extra support so they dont vibrate:
    DSC_0014-1_2b97ccedc20e6cd6e6ee8c80791ee6e899ae524c.jpg
    finished product:
    DSC_0017_5270008672db9bceb8e8df752f11c2e10b9d2532.jpg

all in all pretty easy. had to do a little minor trimming on the bracket to clear the AC lines and then it went right on. i put some male/female connectors on the leads from the lights so that the grill can be removed as an assembly as well

Well I was working on the bracket Sunday and made some good progress but I think I might have to scrap it and start over if I can't figure out a way to make it work.

I notched the angle iron so my lights could tuck back since they are so deep and that all worked perfectly.

    0321001823_01b916dfed3c01140ed119835b1e11ae8bbc6dbd.jpg

Now the only issue is the height. If I use the current setup they will hang too low. However to get to the height I need the light mounting hardware needs to be above the horizontal bar. That would create a problem because it would then be hitting the grille brackets that attach to the truck.

Hmm back to the drawing board to make this work somehow

Just wired my Hella's up behind my grill and I'm wondering what am i suppose to expect from these? because i tried them tonite and it was pretty disappointing how they preform. My fog lights where brighter than these things. Did i do something wrong? Looks like i need the HID upgrade sooner than i thought.

Nope I don't think you did anything wrong. I'm swapping out my hellas. For the price though they get you the look you want. But for better light definitely follow Klipps HID retrofitting.

never even tried em with the halogen bulbs, but i can tell you that with the 55w ddm hid's in them, there's no way you'll be disappointed with their output

bought the whole kit. with all the hardware. the instruction does say anything about the two wires on the lights. i was thinking maybe the black wire goes to ground and the gray goes the negative. not sure

you mean positive. ground and negative are the same thing. and thats what i would assume. sounds right seeing as how black is ground 99% of the time in an automotive setting anyways

not sure about that one, but i think the you can get a switch like the fog light push switch that'll fit perfectly. check with your local dealer
