Never had either one but I'm getting lights put on my truck, most people I know have one or the other. Any difference or suggestions for either?

Started with the pair of Kragen Euro Beam HIDs (they are excellent lights for illumination), but they both broke (the plastic housings cracked during one Baja trip).

Then I got a pair of Hella 4000 METAL pencil beams (100 watt halogen)...

Then I modified my light bar to fit all 4 lights... we fixed the plastic Kragens with figerglass!

    Stock High Beams:

    Turn on the HIDs:

My switches (blue is HIDs, and red is Hellas):
