Hey guys, writing from Alberta, Canada.

Have a 2008 Tacoma Double Cab (TRD Sport & Towing) 4x4
Black in color.....6 speed manual transmission. I love it, but hardly drive it now that my work provides a commuter car. In fact, I have less than 25K on the Taco.

Not much for mods........I have a 3" RevTek lift kit and 33" BFG Mud Terrain tires (slightly too big, I need small spacers (1/4") to even be able to turn the thing, and even with that I can't turn right to the locks). Also have some black Aries side step bars, and a Truxedo roll up tonneau cover.

Prior to this, I had a 2007 FJ Cruiser which I LOVED, however when our first born came along, I thought the 4 doors of the Taco would be nice....and I sure love having a box too, although it is fairly small with the manual tranny.

I worked for Toyota for 5 years (Parts & Service, Sales), but now - believe it or not - I actually work for a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep store (Service end). Don't worry, I haven't switched allegiances.......i'm still a Toyota driver. But there sure are lots of Dodge's to fix anyway!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you. I've been reading through the forum lately quite a bit - especially like the Tacoma Towing Bible, as I am going to be putting my Tacoma to the test soon.

We have been towing a 2007 Viking Epic 1906ST tent trailer for the past couple of years, but just bought a new trailer yesterday (picking up tomorrow!). It is a 2009 Jayco Jay Flight 22FB. GVWR is 6,000 lbs.......I just got my Tekonosha Prodigy brake controller and CIP towing mirrors (both per advice from these forums) and will be tackling the brake controller project tonight. I'll get some pics up when I have my rig all hooked up!

As for my truck, here is a picture attached. I don't have a recent pic - this was before the side steps and bed cover were put on, but gives you a good idea of how it looks with the tires and lift anyway.
