About 7 years ago my niece was attending the School of Mines up in Golden, CO and needed a vehicle. I talked to a buddy of mine as I knew he had a little truck he was looking to get rid of. He had picked it up from the original owner, replaced the brakes and few other differed maintenance items, but the truck wasn't really his style so he was willing to part with it. A deal was struck and my niece learned how to drive a manual in the hills of Golden. When she graduated she decided she wanted a more comfort oriented sedan so she gave the truck to her parents. My sister and BIL didn't really need it but my sister really enjoyed driving the little truck on nice days in rural Illinois. This summer tragedy struck when my BIL was hit and killed by a drunk driver while checking the mail. My sister needed to simplify her life so she gave me the truck.

I don't really need the truck, but I love this little truck. It's basic, simple, easy to drive and park. I'm retired so I just use this truck to drive into town once or twice a week. I haven't done much to it except replace the front bumper and valance which was damaged in a minor fender bender a couple of years ago. IMO it looks better with a matte black bumper then the silver painted OEM version. That's it, nothing fancy, I don't need power windows, I don't need a tach, I'm retired so I don't even need a stickin' clock. I don't really need this truck, but I love it so I'm keeping it.
