Hi everyone, just purchased my first Tacoma (2002 double cab 4wd) with the purpose of taking it to Alaska and then on to the Arctic Circle and then Prudhoe Bay. Here's how the truck sits now

I've had a bunch of maintenance work done (fixing leaks, front end, etc) so now starts the work for me. I'll be posting a build thread shortly.

Yes indeed! I have so much to do to get the truck ready. I'm basically putting it together with the hope it won't fall apart on the Dalton. I figure if I build it for that 48-50 hour turn and burn it should last the entire trip easily.

Right now I'm planning 45 days for the entire trip. Still need to figure out how I'm doing that *and* keeping my job...but hey, minor details and all :)

Nah, that's more the North Pole there (which I'd love to do)...You actually cross over the Arctic Circle on the Dalton Hwy going towards Prudhoe Bay.
