Hello from San Antonio, TX

Been lurking on here about a week or so and decided to go ahead and make an account. I'm a member over at Tundra Solutions which has great support but I wanted to find a good Tacoma specific forum.

My current 2002 Tundra has been with me for about 10 years but is finally on the downturn and I am hopefully going to be looking into getting a Tacoma. I'm a long time Toyota fan and have owned a 98' Camry, 00' Tacoma and this 02' Tundra...Not to mention my parents 00' 4Runner I drove a lot back in Highschool.

Looking to get into a 2nd Gen Tacoma, most likely 13-15 year range as I am trying to find something with low miles and intend to build it up for mild to medium trail/crawling use. I've been lurking trying to find all the pro's and con's I can and also been looking at what kind of suspension offerings I can get. I've for sure narrowed it down to either Mid Travel, Long Travel or SAS. While SAS seems to be the way to go I do believe it would be way too far out of my budget.

I also was wanting to find an open diff model but most of the offerings have the elocker. If I stay with IFS and end up getting an elocker model I figure I may as well go with the offroad trim so I will get A-trac.

Thanks for all the welcomes! I ended up buying a 2015 Double Cab 4x4 TRD Sport exactly the way I wanted it for 30k the day before yesterday!
