02 tacoma dual cab 4x4 v6 auto

I just sold my old BMW for something more practical. It will be a combination personal ride/ and backup for my wife when her Accord is in the shop. With 350k miles on it, it seems to be getting more frequent.There is an'02 Tacoma that I am considering. It is a dual cab,v6 auto with 66k miles on it. also with a fiberglass cap. I think I can get it for $12000. It needs tires and the brakes feel weak, so I'm not sure what that might be. Phil
