Hey guys, been reading this forum for the past few months while I was looking for a tacoma.
I was driving a 96 T100 4x4 with 270k on it. Man did I love that truck, got it when I was 16 and it always treated me well. Unfortunately a bunch of things started to go all at once (head gasket, rear end was cracked, frame/body rot) and being in college I didn't have time for another project; I needed a reliable vehicle for the commute.

So here's what I ended up with:
07 access cab, v6 auto 4x4 with only 84K on it. Bone stock right now, but I'm planning on slowly building it, I plan to hang onto it for 6+ years.
It spends a lot of time with MX bikes in the bed so I figure I'll end up fabricating some heavy duty rails to replace the flimsy stock rails. I definitely don't want to go crazy with a lift either for ease of loading bikes. Possibly a 3" in the front with 1.5" in the rear. Once the tires on it are shot I plan on doing some 15" steelies with 33x10.5 tires. I had BF Goodrich all terrains on my T100.

Also looking forward to fabricating up some rock sliders when I have time. Currently in school for mechanical engineering, but work summers and weekends doing CNC programming, manual machining, and mig/tig welding. It's always fun to fabricate things that make my vehicles more utilitarian. I actually have an idea for a Tacoma accessory, so I'll test it out on truck and see what you guys think.

Looking forward to contributing and learning,
    Teddy
