Hey everyone! Just picked up a 2015 TRD Off-Road AC with V6 and 6 speed manual. Apparently it's a fairly rare combination because i ended up having to go up to Birmingham from central Florida to get one.

I had a 2000 4wd 5 speed manual AC Tacoma up until around 2009 when when someone pulled out in front of me and it was totaled. It had a 3" lift/level kit with 31" mud tired and some other mods here and there. I've driven a Silverado 1500 with 6" lift and 35's since then. That had a fully custom bumper and headache rack that I designed and fabbed and a lot of off-road lights. With well over 200k miles on the Silverado and a growing number of problems, it was time for a new truck. As much as I loved the Silverado, I really missed my old Tacoma and decided to go back.

I'm a mechanical engineer and love designing and fabbing my own mods. I also have a lot of electrical experience. The mods will be slow at first but will come with time. I plan on having this truck a long time!

I've spent a while looking through these forums and there is some great stuff on here! Can't wait to join in on the discussions!

I was stuck between the pyrite mica and the magnetic gray mica. Ended up going with the magnetic gray because it was a little easier to find but I do love the pyrite mica as well!
