yeah well green taco just made a nice post! lets set our differences aside and move on! go tomorrow and test drive and see what you think, now there is an trd offroad and a trd sport, the sport comes with color matched trim and a hood scoop! the offroad has chrome trim and a rear locker! personally i would go sport 4wd but that's up to you!

 

I forget who mentioned it but the 1st gen Colorados didn't just have the engine issues with the 5 banger. Mine was a 4 banger and the heads on both were notorious for shitting the bed in no time. The worst was the "secret warranty" which the dealers claimed ignorance of and then refused to honor.

I'm not gonna blow smoke about Jeep b/c that's not the topic.

My 4 banger 2 wheel Tacoma does all I need it to do. Gets me to my desk job and back, doesn't brutalize me in fuel, hauls things when it needs doing (which is fairly often between being a homeowner, running my tractor or snowblower around to help family and friends, and just random hauls if a buddy needs help), and has given me a lot of trouble-free fun.
