I have a 98 taco with 2.7l 5 speed 246k miles, been totaled 2 times. She just keeps goin until recently. After the front end got smashed a year ago the body shop replaced the led fender, core support, radiator, condenser, bumper, and headlights. I blew a head gasket. I replaced the gasket and rebuilt the head. It took about 6 months to do this due to medical reasons. Once that was completed I had no power to anything. I took it to my buddy’s shop and he got it running. He had to put new injectors and fix a few grounds under the hood. Now I am having charging issues. So I went through all the grounds under the hood and added one from the back of the head to the frame. I Replaced the alternator and still not charging. I also noticed that the charging light isn’t coming on either. So I pulled the cluster and I am having power on both sides of the bulb. I do not know where to go from there. I also noticed the horn is weak and I am noticing quite a bit of moisture inside the truck. Anyone else having issues like this?? Should I make it an externally regulated charging system??
