    Hello fellow GA Taco lovers! Been stalking TW for months trying to gain some knowledge, but finally signed up after purchasing my first Taco! I'm new to all this.... First Tacoma I've ever owned, first forum I've ever joined, so I thought it'd be fitting to call myself "Rookie", especially by comparison to a lot of you guys. I'm amazed by the level of experience and comradery you guys share... Hoping to get in on some of that!

    Bought this used a couple weeks ago:

    Very stock (for now ;)) except the lift/wheels/tires but plan to make this a fun long-term project. It's my commuter car & kid hauler 99% of the time, but hoping to join you guys on the trails whenever my packed schedule allows. (someone tell my wife to quit booking up my weekends!) :ballchain:

    Welcome to the forum and community. Looking forward to meeting you in person.

    Many of the off- pavement opportunities here have some water crossings. A cheap, easy, and super helpful is the rear diff breather mod. I would suggest the behind the taillight version. I'll see if I can find the link later.

    There is also a mod day coming up in December that will be hosted by @BYJOSHCOOK.

    Looks like the 14th is gonna win out, can't make it but I did cast my vote for the 7th. Can't go into detail at the moment, but I have some irks about the suspension that I inherited, hopefully you guys can give me advice on tuning it up.
