    Can someone point me in the right direction. My sons 02 tacoma basically when he shifts into drive from park the engine starts running rough. Then once up to 20 mph it goes away then if you punch it it won't wind up. Like no power.

    check engine light? sounds like a throttle position sensor to me.

    So sorry everyone I found my ob2 sensor and its MISSFIRE ON #3 CYLINDER.

    Maybe a little Help like just what engine your dealing with?

    When was any sort of tune up done last ??

    Might be fuel or spark easy to pull the plug it might tell the whole story

    Oh sorry it's a 3.4 V6, and I do not know when tune up done last. So I had one plug I put it into miss fire cyl 3 now it moved to cyl 5. So will pick up plugs and wires tomorrow.
