Sooo I'm hoping to go this weekend to 4Wheel Parts and get a new wheel/tire set and a 3" inch lift. I've done some research on the boards trying to find what will fit and what won't and what looks best. I need a definitive YES or NO that my setup will work:

    18" XD796 Revolvers
    4.53 Backspace
    -12.00mm offset
285/60/18 tires either Toyo Open Country AT or Nitto TGAT (suggestions or something else? BFG's arent available in this size)

I know even less about lift/leveling kits but it seems like a 3" suspension lift will prevent trimming? What brand lift do you guys suggest? As for the tires, I do some light off-roading, mostly highway and I live in Utah so has to be good in the snow. I just wanted to be able to go in knowing what I need. Any help would be great, thanks!!

im pretty new here myself man and had some of the same questions. Do a search for tire sizes and a search for a lift in the forum search. Browse around the wheels and tires section and the suspension section. There is a ton of info all around just spend a little time and read through some posts. Happy hunting. Welcome to TW

285-65-18 is a 33" tire. thats what I would go with

as for the rest browse around in the suspension and tires sections. i doubt there are questions you could ask that havent already been answered
